Youth Pastor

Cindy Magners

Cindy and her husband, Don, live in Fayetteville, with their two daughters, Michaela and Hannah.

Although Cindy has been on staff for a short time, she has served at CFCOG for over 14 years. She has been active in Kids Point, the Café, facilitating Sunday school classes and Wednesday night studies, and is the Recording Secretary for Sunday school attendance.

Cindy doesn’t consider her job a job but an opportunity to serve God and the youth at CFCOG. She feels very blessed to be able to come to work every day with a smile on her face and in her heart knowing that she is serving the Lord.

Cindy’s life verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

Pastor of Next Generation Ministries

Rodney Welcome Party Photo

Rodney Bistline grew up in Shippensburg and felt a call to full-time ministry through a combination of Bible Quizzing and Punk Rock Music. He and his wife, Jennifer, will have been married since 2004. They have five dynamic children: Rebecca, Joel, Leanna, Ella, & Greta. They like to enjoy nature together through hiking and biking, and they also like to get creative with anything from paint to Lego models.

Rodney has been serving in youth ministry for about 20 years, starting as a volunteer at Shippensburg First Church of God shortly after high school. He has earned degrees from Messiah College and Winebrenner Theological Seminary, and has served youth at Cornell Abraxas Youth Center, Mason-Dixon Youth For Christ (Hanover, PA), and at the United Community Church of God in Confluence, PA (Somerset County).

After serving as the Director of Student Ministries for 3 years, Rodney moved into a new position– The Pastor of Next Generation Ministries. The Next Gen pastor oversees both children and youth departments, helping children, youth, parents & families, and the various ministries involved take their next steps in the same direction, to help our young people carry the vision of Grand Point Church into the future.
